Ash Rapids Lodge

off the lake dining
Ash Rapids Lodge has been an evening dining destination for those who reside on Lake of the Woods for many years. Our fully licensed dining room is open July 1st through the long weekend in September every day except Tuesdays. Lunch is open from 1pm-3pm and dinner from 5pm-10pm is by reservation only.

Our secluded restaurant overlooking Ash Bay serves something for everyone. From traditional Walleye with homemade tartar sauce to unique specials such as duck confit and sablefish, Ash Rapids Lodge maintains a pristine quality of food. Each meal is complimented by freshly baked bread and your choice of homemade soup or salad bar.

Fly and Dines can be booked through the Kenora Air Service for a truly unique dining experience. We have three mooring buoys for those who would like to dine and anchor for the evening on your boat. Pick ups at our landing in Kendall Inlet are available for groups of 4-8.

Fishing guest dining
On the American Plan, you are treated to a buffet breakfast starting at 7am, including a choice of chilled fruit juices, cold cereals, muffins and fresh fruit platters. For hot food, there is bacon, ham or sausage, pancakes or french toast, red river cereal, hash browns, and eggs done to your desired style. We also offer homemade white or red river toast.

For lunch you have a choice of a traditional shorelunch cooked by your guide, sandwiches out on the water, or coming back to the lodge for hot soup and a sandwich. For dinner, the chef will chose a different entree off the menu each night, such as fresh walleye, prime rib, AAA angus steaks, baby back ribs, or pasta. All dinners are accompanied by homemade soup and salad, as well as freshly baked bread and dessert.

If you are on a Housekeeping Plan, we would be pleased to have you up to the lodge for lunch or dinner where you may order off the restaurant menu. We just ask for a day’s notice to ensure you reserve a table.
