Ash Rapids Weddings

Ash Rapids Lodge was traditionally a fishing and hunting lodge. Today, it continues to be a world-class fishing destination, but has also developed a phenomenal restaurant, serving some of the best food found in the Kenora and Lake of the Woods area. The restaurant has a busy deck all summer long as cottagers and locals come for lunches, dinners, and special events. The Clinton family has a history of hosting their own weddings at their beloved family lodge, and over the last few years they have opened themselves up as a wedding venue to all. As the lodge still operates as a fishing lodge and restaurant, only a limited number of weddings will be booked each year, so that each wedding gets the unique attention it deserves.

Our Venue

We will provide a memorable atmosphere with a variety of options for your special day. Choose to get married under the restaurant pavilion overlooking Ash Bay, or brave being right on the dock over the water. Our venue provides seating for your ceremony, tables, chairs, and tableware for your dinner service. In addition, we provide staff for your event and an unbeatable meal your guests will rave about. Ash Rapids is boat or float plane access only and we offer boat shuttles to help you arrange transportation of all your items and guests.

Your Food

A custom food menu will be created based on your budget. All of our menus are created with top quality ingredients. Wedding meals have included favourites such as Prime Rib and LOTW Walleye, as well as  unique items such as Duck breast. Talk to us about your ideal menu!

Your Drinks

Ash Rapids Lodge has a licensed dining room with a fully stocked bar. We provide the liquor and bar staff needed for your special day, so there’s no extras for you to worry about. From drink tickets to an open bar, just tell us the details you’re after and we’ll take care of the rest!

Kristen has 15+ years of experience in the floral industry, focusing mainly on weddings.
